Ludothek
Wipkingen gets a Ludothek. Similarly to a library, a Ludothek lends games of different categories to its customers. Children and adults thereby have the opportunity to try out both new and already well established games.
A small group of people (approx. 12 people) from the neighborhood would run the Ludothek together. All of them working on a voluntary basis. Outside of school holidays, the Ludothek would be open two to three times a week for 2 hours respectively. During these opening hours, at least two people are always present to supervise the lending and returning of items. To ensure that the Ludothek always has the latest games, all of the administrative work and purchases are conducted outside of the official opening hours. Games that remain in good condition can also be donated to the Ludothek. Additionally, game nights could be organized in the Ludothek and it could be represented at the neighborhood festival. Games for adults and adolescents could also broaden the offer.
